Troy is grateful to have served (30) years in public, licensed ministry. Troy humbly shares that he is the product of peculiar opportunity, life-failures, many set-backs, with innumerable lessons-learned. But most importantly he’s honored to be the miraculous product of the ‘Grace & Love’ of God through Jesus Christ. Troy maintains that he humbly strives for a renewed mind, body, and spirit as well as positive fellowship with all people, day-by-day, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
He resides in Glen Allen, Virginia and is ordained by the Church of God in Christ, Inc. (COGIC), the Faith Landmarks Ministerial Fellowship, and the Baptist Church. He also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Southeastern University, Lakeland, FL within its Unrestricted College- Extension and Online Undergraduate and Graduate degree programs.
Troy has been blessed to have worked “bi-vocationally” with the U.S. Federal Government, Fortune 100 Corporations, and four-year public universities. He has held various positions including: Aerospace Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer, Corporate Pilot, and Project Manager. He is also a U.S. military veteran. Presently, he bi-vocationally serves as a Program Manager with Commonwealth Aerospace LLC in North Chesterfield, Virginia. Pastor Troy also serves on the Executive Board of the Unity Family Life, Cultural and Resource Center (UFLC-RC).
Troy holds the Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technology in Aviation Flight Technology from Thomas Edison State University and a Master of Divinity degree from Howard University, School of Divinity. Troy is pursuing the Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Care and Pastoral Professionalism at the Interdenominational Theological Center, C.H. Mason Theological Seminary, Atlanta, Georgia. His academic studies also included coursework towards the Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Science Engineering, Tuskegee University; Bachelor of Science Honors in Physics, University of South Africa; Master of Science in Atmospheric Science/Mechanical Engineering, Howard University; and Master of Science in Space Systems Engineering, Johns Hopkins University.
His hobbies include: jogging, Christian martial arts, amateur astronomy, flying, and model rocketry.
